Over the course of 4 days, Jill will work with 12 selected participants/performers exploring personal stories and experiences that emerge from the reflections upon being a daughter or having daughters. At the end of these 4 days, the performance invites witnesses to share one on one intimate yet public encounters with the performers.
To date, the performance has been staged in Wales, Cuba, Brazil, Chile, Ecuador, Switzerland, Germany, France, Spain, Denmark, Kosovo, India and Japan, with professional and non professional performers of all ages.

BIOS:
Jill Greenhalgh
has been a professional theatre maker since 1978. Her career as a performer, director and producer has primarily focused on experimental physical practice. The specific interest in the performance work being developed by women resulted in the foundation of The Magdalena Project in 1986. As director and producer her most recent performance projects include: The Acts—Vigia, a performance project created as a response to the murders of hundreds of young women in and around the US-Mexican border town of Juarez and Daughter, a project made with local communities of performers and non-performers focusing on personal stories of mother and daughter relationships. Jill was full-time Lecturer in Performance Studies at the University of Wales, Aberystwyth (2002–2016), specialising in devised physical performance, women's theatre and actor training. She and her dog live on the west coast of rural Wales.
Meg Ella Brookes
is a multidisciplinary musician based in London UK, working as an arranger, composer & session musician (cello, vocals, keys) for artists including ABBA, Elbow, Sir Tom Jones, Nitin Sawnhey, Basement Jaxx, BBC Symphony Orchestra, Wolf Alice, Basement Jaxx, Patrick Watson and many more. She is also a songwriter under her artist project MEG ELLA, the founding Creative Director of Citizens of the World, the UKs leading Refugee Choir & project & musical manager of London Contemporary Voices, a world-leading session choir.
