When music is the only means of expression for the impact of one’s social commitment, experiences and society in general, the humus for such a massive project as the debut album of singer-songwriter Diana Ezerex is created. Since March 2020, the German-Nigerian singer has gathered enormous forces to release her debut album “My Past’s Gravity” in June 2021. Her music moves between (urban) pop, hip hop/trap & soul. Her deep, touching voice gets the audience to socio-critically examine grievances such as exclusion, restriction, integration, social injustice and freedom. Together with her band, she carries her audience away every time and leaves the encouraging echo of an upcoming change.
