Partying through the night, relationship chaos – high in the sky, sick at heart. LiLA deliberately leaves open whether it’s about boys or girls. Playing opposites off against each other and thus creating a new togetherness is one of her strengths. Her childhood in the 90s has left its mark on LiLA’s stage performance: Influences from music videos and girl groups are unmistakable. Girl power vs. fragility, German lyrics, pop melodies and heavy beats: LiLA presents her songs with courage and openness, but above all with lots and lots of love. In contrast to the easy-going performance, the lyrics are profound, touching, and tell LiLA’s story, which, despite – or perhaps because of – the colorful hustle and bustle, immediately becomes one’s own.
