Una a Una

Tue. 14.9. & Wed.  15.9. 10 a.m. – 1 p.m.

Workshop with Ana Barros

In our workshop we share the experience of “Experimento BI-POLARES”, a choreographic practice created in real time and performed in Chile and other South American countries since 2015: A living sculptural installation that is composed collectively, intervenes in the public space and performs a new version in each place with different performers and contexts. In doing so, it tests different gazes, bodies, audiences, architectures, landscapes, borders and cultures. “UNA A UNA” is the final presentation of the workshop process and represents an encounter in which the participants are invited to look at each other, listen, feel and discover themselves in the other – like a mirror that brings back the awareness of one’s own body and the depth of existence.

Ana Barros is a stage designer, choreographer and dancer, actress and performer. She is the director and choreographer of the contemporary dance company ATOMICADANZA, which has created the works “BI-POLAR”, “TELÚRICA, Anatomía de Memoria” and the intervention in public space “Experimento BIPOLAR”. Her works in performance and scenic design have been presented in theaters, art galleries, museums and cultural centers, as well as in emblematic places such as Tacheles Berlin, Tanz Fabrik Germany, Museo de Bellas Artes de la Paz Bolivia and Museo de la Memoria y los Derechos Humanos, Santiago de Chile.
