DisTouched ist eine Stelzen-Tanz-Performance im \u00f6ffentlichen Raum, die das Spannungsfeld zwischen Individuum und Kollektiv in der modernen Gesellschaft thematisiert. Drei Frauen mit unterschiedlichen Geschichten und Herk\u00fcnften erforschen auf Stelzen tanzend verschiedene Facetten von Beziehungen, von der fl\u00fcchtigen Bekanntschaft \u00fcber Konflikte bis hin zu echter Verbundenheit. Das St\u00fcck bewegt sich zwischen Leichtigkeit und Dramatik, zwischen Ritual und Rasanz, zwischen Spannung und Stille. Raum, Abstand und physischer Kontakt spielen eine gro\u00dfe Rolle und die T\u00e4nzerinnen entdecken sich selbst in immer wieder neuen Konstellationen, in denen sich die Zuschauenden wiederfinden k\u00f6nnen. Die Stelzen symbolisieren dabei die Zerbrechlichkeit und Unbest\u00e4ndigkeit des menschlichen Seins in einer Welt voller Gegens\u00e4tze und Herausforderungen.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Biographie:<\/strong> Das Stelzen-Tanz-Kollektiv DANZANK\u00d3 wurde von Esther Geyer (DE\/ES), Clara Gracia <\/span><\/span>(ES) und Anna Vilhelmiina Peltola (FIN) im Jahr 2020 gegr\u00fcndet.\u00a0<\/span><\/span>Die drei Performerinnen arbeiten seit vielen Jahren im zeitgen\u00f6ssischen Tanz sowie im <\/span><\/span>Stra\u00dfen- und ortsspezifischen Theater \u2013 mit und ohne Stelzen. Sie verbindet die Freude <\/span><\/span>am Stelzentanz und das Anliegen, diese Ausdrucksform einem breiteren Publikum <\/span><\/span>zug\u00e4nglich zu machen. DisTouched is a stilt-dance performance in public space that explores the tension between the individual and the collective in modern society. Dancing on stilts, three women with diverse backgrounds and histories explore various facets of relationships\u2014ranging from fleeting acquaintances and conflict to genuine connection. The piece oscillates between lightness and drama, ritual and rapid movement, tension and stillness. Space, distance, and physical contact play a pivotal role as the dancers discover themselves in ever-changing configurations\u2014scenarios in which the audience can also find a reflection of themselves. The stilts symbolize the fragility and impermanence of human existence in a world full of contradictions and challenges.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Biography:<\/strong> The stilt-dance collective DANZANK\u00d3 was founded in 2020 by Esther Geyer (DE\/ES), Clara Gracia (ES), and Anna Vilhelmiina Peltola (FIN). The three performers have years of experience in contemporary dance as well as street and site-specific theater\u2014working both with and without stilts. They are united by a shared joy in stilt dance and a commitment to making this form of expression accessible to a wider audience. In public spaces, they create situations where encounters between performers and the audience become freer and more immediate<\/span><\/span>. <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Their debut performance, DisTouched, premiered at artspace Bremerhaven in 2022 and has since toured at international festivals<\/span><\/span>.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n
