Biographie:<\/strong> Das Stelzen-Tanz-Kollektiv DANZANK\u00d3 wurde von Esther Geyer (DE\/ES), Clara Gracia <\/span><\/span>(ES) und Anna Vilhelmiina Peltola (FIN) im Jahr 2020 gegr\u00fcndet. <\/span><\/span>Die drei Performerinnen arbeiten seit vielen Jahren im zeitgen\u00f6ssischen Tanz sowie im <\/span><\/span>Stra\u00dfen- und ortsspezifischen Theater \u2013 mit und ohne Stelzen. Sie verbindet die Freude <\/span><\/span>am Stelzentanz und das Anliegen, diese Ausdrucksform einem breiteren Publikum <\/span><\/span>zug\u00e4nglich zu machen. Im \u00f6ffentlichen Raum \u00f6ffnen sie Situationen, in denen <\/span><\/span>Begegnungen zwischen Performerinnen und Publikum freier und unmittelbarer werden.\u00a0<\/span><\/span>Ihre Deb\u00fct-Performance DisTouched hatte 2022 auf artspace Bremerhaven Premiere und <\/span><\/span>tourt seither auf internationalen Festivals.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Through striking stilt choreography and a healthy dose of comedy, the DANZANK\u00d3 Collective presents *FARRA*\u2014a dance piece exploring the multifaceted nature of womanhood. Three dancers slip into various roles, exaggerating, deconstructing, and reinterpreting them. What begins as self-parody unfolds into a spirited journey full of contradictions, where strength meets softness and satire meets sincerity. *FARRA* celebrates the diversity of female identities and makes one thing clear: (We) women are allowed to be multifaceted\u2014powerful, tender, loud, quiet, and full of contradictions. The result is a bold, empowering ode to womanhood and the lively complexity of human existence<\/span><\/span>.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Biography:<\/strong> The stilt-dance collective DANZANK\u00d3 was founded in 2020 by Esther Geyer (DE\/ES), Clara Gracia (ES), and Anna Vilhelmiina Peltola (FIN). The three performers have years of experience in contemporary dance as well as street and site-specific theater\u2014working both with and without stilts. They are united by a shared joy in stilt dance and a commitment to making this form of expression accessible to a wider audience. In public spaces, they create situations where encounters between performers and the audience become freer and more immediate<\/span><\/span>. <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Their debut performance, DisTouched, premiered at artspace Bremerhaven in 2022 and has since toured at international festivals<\/span><\/span>.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n
