Ein autofiktionaler Solo-Abend von und mit Mateja Meded. Erz\u00e4hlt wird die Geschichte eines “Aliens”: ein Kind, das vor dem Krieg nach Deutschland flieht, und heute als K\u00fcnstlerin im deutschen Kulturbetrieb gegen Klassismus, Gentrifizierung und die Vereinnahmung ihrer Geschichte durch selbsternannt “diverse” Kulturschaffende ank\u00e4mpft. Ihre Warnung an die Gentrifizierer: “be aware of the yogastudios.”<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Vor allem aber ist dieser Abend ein Befreiungsschlag: die Emanzipation davon, gefallen zu wollen, die “gute Ausl\u00e4nderin” zu spielen und sich f\u00fcrs Dazugeh\u00f6ren klein zu machen. Ein St\u00fcck gegen Habitus-Passing \u2013 dagegen, sich an Codes anzupassen, die nie f\u00fcr einen gemacht wurden.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Biographie: <\/b>Mateja Meded ist ghettolektuelle K\u00fcnstlerin. Sie arbeitet als Schauspielerin, Autorin, Regisseurin und Filmemacherin, geboren in Jugoslawien, lebt seit 1992 in Deutschland. W\u00e4hrend ihres Studiums an der Filmuniversit\u00e4t Babelsberg KONRAD WOLF, arbeitete sie bereits am Maxim Gorki Theater Berlin arbeitete. <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Ihre Inszenierung “keeping up with the penthesileas-from white feminism to neoliberal feminism”, wo sie Schauspielerin, Koregisseurin und Koautorin war, wurde in Z\u00fcrich hoch gelobt und gefeiert. 2025 inszenierte sie am Schauspiel Stuttgart die Urauff\u00fchrung von “KI essen Seele auf (Orpheai)”, die ebenfalls hoch gelobt wurde.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Mit “fotzenschleimpower gegen raubtierkaputtalismus” feierte sie bei den Wiener Festwochen 2024 einen Monolog, der als erstes St\u00fcck des Festivals ausverkauft war und bis heute erfolgreich gespielt wird.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Pussy slime power against predatory totalitarism<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

An autofictional solo evening by and with Mateja Meded. It tells the story of an “alien”: a child who flees the war to Germany and today, as an artist in the German cultural scene, fights against classism, gentrification and the appropriation of her history by self-proclaimed “diverse” cultural workers. Her warning to the gentrifiers: “be aware of the yoga studios.”<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Above all, however, this evening is an act of liberation: an emancipation from the desire to please, from playing the “good foreigner” and making oneself small in order to belong. It is a piece that challenges “habitus-passing”\u2014the act of conforming to codes that were never designed for you.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Biography: <\/b>Mateja Meded is a “ghetto-lectual” artist. Born in Yugoslavia and a resident of Germany since 1992, she works as an actress, writer, director, and filmmaker. While studying at the Film University Babelsberg KONRAD WOLF, she was already working at the Maxim Gorki Theatre in Berlin. <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Her production “keeping up with the penthesileas\u2014from white feminism to neoliberal feminism”\u2014in which she served as an actress, co-director, and co-author\u2014was highly acclaimed and celebrated in Zurich. In 2025, she directed the world premiere of “KI essen Seele auf (Orpheai)” at Schauspiel Stuttgart, which also received high praise.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n
