IF*TF Artistic Director B\u00e1rbara Luci Carvalho has received the City of Frankfurt Diversity Award (Frankfurter Diversit\u00e4tspreis) in recognition of her longstanding commitment to diversity, inclusion, and equal participation in the arts.<\/span><\/p>

\u00a0<\/p>

As the founder and artistic director of the <\/span>International Womxn\u2019s Theatre Festival (IF*TF), she has created an internationally recognized platform that promotes feminist, intersectional, and anti-racist performing arts while fostering dialogue across cultures and communities. Her work has significantly contributed to making Frankfurt\u2019s cultural landscape more inclusive by amplifying the voices of women, BIPoC, migrant, and queer artists.<\/span><\/p>

The <\/span>City of Frankfurt Diversity Award honors individuals, initiatives, and organizations whose work makes an outstanding contribution to diversity, equal opportunities, anti-discrimination, and social cohesion in Frankfurt. Through her artistic vision and cultural leadership, B\u00e1rbara Luci Carvalho demonstrates how the arts can create spaces for participation, representation, and social transformation.<\/span><\/p>
