Die Aufführung bringt Texte des norwegischen Dichters Georg Johannesen zur Geltung, die mit Musik und Choreografie in einem kühnen und ausdrucksstarken Stil erweitert werden. Es handelt sich um Gedichte mit einer besonderen Sensibilität für politische, historische und soziale Fragen im Zusammenhang mit Krieg, Frieden, Gewalt, Zerstörung und Tod. Sie behandeln oft Themen, die als unpoetisch gelten: Distanz, Losgelöstheit und die Abwesenheit von Empfindsamkeit.

I cannot tell my own story. To do that, one would have to be absolutely insensitive. And insensitive people remember nothing. So no one gets to hear the truth either about themselves or about others. It is just like the sun, no one can stand to look it in the eye, but no one can live without it.
