Caro Trischler Trio – North e Sul Folk, Jazz & Brasilianische Musik aus Nord- bis Südamerika
Caro Trischler – Gesang, Gitarre
Ulf Kleiner – Rhodes
Keys Max Jentzen – Drums
Once you’ve heard her voice, you won’t forget it any time soon. Her specialty are her soft, haunting tones, which sound very relaxed in English and Portuguese. She sings Brazilian music by João Gilberto & Elis Regina with the same conviction and passion as she does folk & jazz in the style of Joni Mitchell. North e Sul (2020) is a collection of favorite songs from Caro and the pianist and producer Ulf Kleiner, who collected, arranged and expanded the songs together. The English and Portuguese vocal parts interchange with the instrumental and solo passages of Max Jentzen on drums and the unmistakable sound of Ulf’s Fender Rhodes. The harmonious genre-mix of country, folk-jazz and Brazilian music allows Caro Trischler’s unique voice to shine subtly yet concisely with a warm, deep sound and wide arcs of suspense.
