„Feminist Futures“ & „Pandora’s Box“ – Vernissage and Guided Tours
Gallery Curated by Effi Bodensohn
Pandoras Box Curated by Edith Van den Elzen
The exhibition ‘Feminist Futures’ by visual artists and the video and digital works in ‘Pandora’s Box’ blend into the history of the location and utilise the remains of the former freight forwarding site. In different forms (photography, painting, sculpture, installation, video), they deal with the space within the space, personal stories and social issues:
When and for whom do we need safe spaces?
How can we create sustainable structures that are free from abuse of power, sexism and discrimination?
How can we create them in our private environments, our artistic spaces and in public?
How can we do this when visiting or producing art, culture and theatre?
Open during the festival hours and for all genders
