SHE Choir Frankfurt

SHE Choir Frankfurt is a no-charge feminist and English-speaking choir in Frankfurt for anyone who identifies as female or non-binary. The choir sees itself as a non-hierarchical and collaborative project: all songs are chosen, arranged and conducted by the members themselves. There is no choir director. The repertoire of SHE Choir ranges from pop to female workers’ songs. The songs are a way for the choir members to find their own voice: political, empowering or sometimes just funny. SHE Choir Frankfurt tries to create a space to experiment with its different voices, identities and abilities. Accordingly, the choir does not require any previous musical training or auditions – true to the motto ‘If you can sing in the shower, you can sing in a choir’.
