Ein partizipativer Workshop und eine Ausstellung, die sich ständig weiterentwickelt. Wir erforschen unsere persönliche, politische und generationenübergreifende Beziehung zu Textilien: Du bist eingeladen, ein Textilporträt aus Stoffresten zu gestalten, die du anhand von fünf Leitfragen über deine Beziehung zu Kleidung auswählst. Du ordnest die Stücke zu einer Komposition an und nähst sie von Hand zusammen. Während wir gemeinsam nähen, entfaltet sich rund um den Tisch ein moderiertes Gespräch, in dem persönliche Geschichten, haptische Erinnerungen und Reflexionen über die Arbeit mit Textilien miteinander verwoben werden. Nach dem Workshop wird das gemeinsam entstandene Textilwerk auf dem Festivalgelände ausgestellt.

A participatory workshop and an exhibition that is constantly evolving. We explore our personal, political and intergenerational relationship with textiles: You are invited to create a textile portrait from fabric scraps that you select in response to five guiding questions about your relationship with clothing. You arrange the pieces into a composition and sew them together by hand. As we sew together, a facilitated conversation unfolds around the table, weaving together personal stories, tactile memories and reflections on working with textiles. After the workshop, the collaboratively created textile artwork will be exhibited on the festival grounds.
