Biographie: Zur Urbesetzung von KICK LA LUNA gehören Anne Breick, die mitreißende Perkussionistin mit ihren groovigen Latin-Rhythmen, Elke Voltz, die Sängerin und Songwriterin mit ihrer kraftvollen Soulstimme, und die Bassistin und Komponistin Uli Pfeifer mit ihrer warmen Altstimme. Seit über 10 Jahren gehören auch Christiane Sattler, die Keyboarderin mit einer gehörigen Portion Modern-Salsa, Jazz und Pop, sowie Angela Frontera, die virtuose Ausnahme-Drummerin aus Brasilien, zur Band.
KICK LA LUNA gehen seit 1992 unbeirrt ihren Weg und haben sich auch international einen Namen gemacht. Von Wien bis Valencia, von Montreal bis San Francisco und von Zürich bis Amsterdam gaben sie unzählige Konzerte. Auch auf internationalen Musikfestivals in Wales, den Niederlanden und der Schweiz begeisterten sie ihr Publikum. Zudem repräsentierten KICK LA LUNA Deutschland 2006 auf der Weltfrauenkonferenz in Paris und spielten 2008 zur Eröffnung der Frauen-Fußball-WM.

Biography: The original lineup of KICK LA LUNA includes Anne Breick—a dynamic percussionist known for her infectious Latin grooves—Elke Voltz, a singer-songwriter with a powerful soul voice, and bassist-composer Uli Pfeifer, who possesses a warm alto voice. For over a decade, the band has also featured keyboardist Christiane Sattler—bringing a strong blend of modern salsa, jazz, and pop—and Angela Frontera, a virtuoso drummer from Brazil.
KICK LA LUNA has steadfastly pursued its path since 1992, establishing an international reputation along the way. The band has performed countless concerts in cities ranging from Vienna to Valencia, Montreal to San Francisco, and Zurich to Amsterdam. They have also captivated audiences at international music festivals in Wales, the Netherlands, and Switzerland. Furthermore, KICK LA LUNA represented Germany at the World Women’s Conference in Paris in 2006 and performed at the opening of the Women’s World Cup in 2008.
